PLAYERS AWAY ENTRY AND CANCELLATION DATES
1. To enter an Away Club tournament use the e-mail Entry Form you received, the Woodley Lakes web site at: www.wlmgc.org, or Call the Tournament Director if you don’t have
email. For Online Entry fill in the required information and SUBMIT.
2. To cancel your entry for an Away Tournament, the policy is Players must call the
Tournament Chairman by the cancellation date and time for each tournament Online
Entry (leave a message if there is no answer). Each golf course has different deadlines
for our Club to commit how many players are signed up. It is important to check
deadline if you need to cancel. If you cancel after the dead line – you are responsible
for Green and any tournament fees the Club occurred unless there is a player on the
waiting list to fill your spot. The only time you should call the Starter is an emergency
situation in route (traffic, accident, etc) the day of the tournament or to check if tournament
was cancelled due to rain. Under these circumstances, the committee will make an effort
to accommodate a tee time if you are in route. A no-show player (one that did not cancel)
will be charged for the green fees and any tournament fees. Fees must be paid prior to
playing in any future Tournament .
3. If rain is a possibility to cancel the tournament... it is the responsibility of eachPlayer to call the golf course at least one hour prior to 1st tee time to verify if the tournament
is cancelled. If it is walking only it may still be played with a short field (most likely be
cancelled). Players who entered as riding may opt to play and walk. If the tournament
is cancelled - players who paid with check by mail prior to tournament will have their
